Actually, nothing is inconsistant with what Intel has said. wen they intro'd the 800 4 weeks ago, they said supplies would be tight for the first part of Q1.

So it ends up like that, and everybody seems amazed.

From my perspective, demand is incredible across the board for uP's. I know some people would love the situation to be more than it is, but the simple fact of the matter is that Intel just can't ramp fast enough.

Kash. Re: They also said high 800Mhz end was their "sweet spot".

Most unusual for the sweet spot to be at the top, isn't it?
