Globalstar prices 7 mln shares at $35 each

NEW YORK, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd (NasdaqNM:GSTRF -
news) said Wednesday it priced 7 million shares at $35 each in a public offering.

The company previously announced its stock offer on Jan. 10 and said it would use the $234
million in net proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include accelerating the roll-out of service beyond planned
efforts through increased support of service provider marketing activities and the funding of promotional discounts.

Shares closed down 3-1/4 at 37-1/4 on Wednesday.
