And I wouldn't change the tone of the threads either. It can be quite amusing. But jokes are funny, right up until the point that they are laughing at you rather than with you. This thread may view hg (or me even) as "symbols", but I certainly don't view myself as a symbol.

If you do not care for the taunting, why cannot you and the others on the thread you mention stop taunting? I suppose my point as an outsider on this thread is one makes the thread to be what the thread is. You and the other participants make the thread.
