PDG: Took a position today based on increased volume, closed strong and up for the first time in six days, has retraced 50% from its last high and I like to get beat up by gold stocks.

A: Still holding Abitibi from yesterday. It can't seem to sustain a move past 18.00 even though it has managed to close above it the last two days. Maybe tomorrow.

Hi Harley! You may remember my bad times before Xmas on the day trade thread. My wife and I spent a few weeks over Xmas, feeling we had been beaten for good. We have never lost any capitol, but with profits being made and lost again too many times, we figured it was time to re-evaluate the nature of our trading, with our confidence all but gone, we reviewed everything good and bad we had done in the last two years. The best thing for us to do, was to stop quick flipping stocks and work towards position trading and just holding them a little longer.

For now, things are going much, much, better and I am putting my time back into choosing future picks. I would join this thread, but I am tending to hold things longer then 3 days for now, two weeks, two or three months or more depending how things look. You will regain your confidence, if you are addicted to this like I am <ggg>

Thanks for the shorting lessons back in December.
BID daddy.
