"Dynamite second quarter results."

See how it was reported in the Program Nightly Business Report tonight in their "Wall Street Wrap Up":

"JDS Uniphase (JDSU) dropped 15 1/4 but then after the close it reported dynamite second quarter results. Profits surged 145 percent. In after hours trading, the stock got up to 220."

This is what a lot of investors heard tonight.
Long JDSU.

Master,

Cramer did NOT bash JSDU at all.

In short.....

He was commenting on the way analysts express their elation at earnings, and used JDSU's earnings to demonstrate that. They move the stock up, put bigger profit and earnings numbers in their models and personally jump up and down.

He used DELL and QCOM to show what analysts do when companies miss their numbers, or warn. They trash the stock, put smaller earnings and profit number in their models, and don't jump up and down.
