with more customers banging on their door and less supplies to supply those customer it will not make any difference. Read the post just before your's it gives a pretty good explanation how INTC has been shifting in and out of high end chips at Dell's expense.

Dell is at the mercy of their suppliers not their customers.

The question is why was INTC doing what they were doing and why were they doing it to Dell? And I am only assuming that INTC was part of the cause here.

The other and more serious question is why did Dell continue to ignore what was happing around them without giving some public notice. After all they are a "public" company and one that claims to be DIRECT!

THEY BLEW IT ALL THE WAY AROUND!!! THEY MAY BE BILLIONAIRES BUT THEY ARE STUPID BILLIONARIES!!!
