gerald,

SYNT is comfortable w/ current estimates...The very conservative Mr. Desai perhaps got tired of seeing his profitable, growing companys share price stagnate while internet valuations continue to soar.I was pleasantly surprised at the shift in strategy and believe it will be embraced by the street. Let's see what the volume does over the next few days. When it moves it is an amazing stock to trade...

Dear gerald: While SYNT and IMRS appear to have similar basic business plans the similarity ends there. SYNT is far more careful (some have felt TOO careful) in its projections. IMHO SYNT will beat the consensus and as I said some time ago, that acquisition last year should add to the bottom line since it was a cash deal no significant stock issued. JDN
