It was as wrong then as it is today for a (any) government to procaim as correct & true any religion! A revolution was fought over - in part - this issue. History has shown which was the correct path, it is the path of religious freedom. Only when one finds truth themselves can it be true. Truth can not be legistated, & if it were a real truth, would have no need of governmental support!

OK, now you have given us one religion which you understand as outside the law, the entire Catholic Faith.

Which others do you understand as needing to be outlawed?

What religion(as you understand it) is required?
