The secret is that AMD can make 1.2GHz K7 on 0.18um.

Would that be Al or Cu? Have you seen it yourself?

Unfortunately, this is not a secret.
And when the Athlon is running at 1.2 GHz what will the Willamette have to be be launched at? Willy is a new core. Look at the trouble Intel has had with Floppermine. Getting a new core to run that fast out of the gate will not be easy, even for Intel.
