LOL I got a letter from Forbes today asking for a campaign donation. I feel so rich tonight I just might send him my two cents. Gotta' admit I'm beginning to like anybody who will spare me taxes. ...ggg...

Whose commercial is it where the guy leaves his computer after seeing his stock run up and interrupts his bosses meeting to quit only to find his stock back down to pennies.
Well, it's his fault for not buying VLNC.

Enjoy a peaceful, happy sleep tonight. :-)

I.N. Vester:
I think having dinner together and inviting management is an excellent idea. I have not made any plans yet to attend the shm, but I am thinking about it. (The biggest problem is it is right there by Valentines Day!)

I also think that we, (you) should invite Larry and Visnic. What the hell, might as well be big about the whole thing. (Let your brokerage statement speak for itself.) And maybe they will change the faith and be go long.

Regards, and thanks for everyones' encouragement, it was a very long hold for me, but it is worth it. I started owning this stock back in 1997, and invested quite a bit into options, which most expired worthless. But I still invested in stock, and was able to hold back the margin calls. After yesterday, I am able to sleep much better, but can't quit the day job, yet.

Cheers,

Jeff

INvestor, I like the limo idea. This has been a double barreled gain for me - I'm also holding Waverider which has risen ~ 50% this week.

This thread has been a great support group during the hard times, and an enjoyable place to share the good times. My special appreciation goes out to FMK who never faltered and who was always a gentleman even with the most unsavory naysayers.

Looking forward to the meeting.

IN and others:

Great idea for the SH meeting. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend, my holdings in Valence aren't the same level as most posters here. However, I'm smiling. The sad part of this is that FMK was not able to participate in this success.
On another note, the nasdaq site shows two analyst firms covering vlnc. CIBC, which caused a stir, and prudential are both listed as covering vlnc. PRU has a hold rating for VLNC. Anyone seen this report from Pru?
Congrats to all longs and thanks for the information shared on this site.
