oh no! god forbid.
ETrade doesn't need Ameritrade AT ALL.
we are already killing them, there's no point in buying them.
a better buy would be privately held Datek/Island, whose customers are much more active, or Tradescape or Cybercorp, to grab their direct access trading software.
E*Trade with one of those direct access trading packages (a decent order entry system at last!!) will rock the world.
Ameritrade customers will open E*Trade accounts overnight without E*Trade spending a cent.

That would be okay with me since I've got em both again <G>

Very nice hard reversal off big support with a bullish engulfing candlestick. Amazing how this coincides with the bond yields softening a bit and as we approach the fed meeting.
