I had a bunch of PM's I was saving from months, maybe years ago, and one morning POOOF!! all gone

I learned about a year and a half ago to save them to files on my PC, or simply email yourself the full page.

One side note. if you save the URL, even as it passes through your folder(after you receive the next 80 messages, you can still retrieve it by plugging in the URL. However, as pointed out to me by Jill, that is only good for 6 months. However, I'm sure it's still there, they all are somewhere in the GNET/SI data base.

They only vanish from you. But they never really go away<g>

p.s. Maybe it has something to do with the identity of Silicon Investor But the only two(mass mailings) I ever received under that identity have disappeared from my files as soon as I have clicked "I have read it". In fact, even if I save it by back clicking it still doesn't show up in my folder, although it has remained in my inbox until I clicked "i have read it".

Hope this helps some.
