I do not believe I am RANTING nor RAVING.. You have always accused me of being PROUD so there is nothing new to that part of your post. Could you define "ranting and raving" You find it surprising that I would considered advice to keep from speaking about God as being from satan? Let me see.. Hawk-eye decides I am proud and carried away with my own importance... I am quoting more of Gods word to prove my position then anyone else but I should also stop doing that... I am the only one who is "actively" defending the doctrine of Sovereign Election by Grace alone but I am doing damage tot he work of God so i should just keep quiet. Because.. I am proud and ranting and raving.. Hmmm I wonder if such comments have stopped the men of God who went before me? I wonder if such complaints about social graces put a lid on the teachings of men like John Calvin... opps there I go comparing myself to Godly men again.. I am just so full of myself am I not. How dare I try to copy men like Jesus or Paul.. just who do I think I am anyway. Let me tell you something Hawk-eye Jesus washed my feet so your comments - empty as they are - really don't bother me on a personal level as you suspect. I do find it trying however when those who claim to serve Christ and stand at my side keep stomping on my toes with the kind of "stuff" your laying on me. We are back to this "stuff" again: John 10:20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? Luke 7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. 34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! you see it does not matter what I do people like you will just continue to find things to say against me. John did not drink alcohol.. they said he was a devil. Jesus did drink alcohol .. they said he was a drunk. It does not really matter how I put out the truth.. if they cannot find fault with the truth they will find fault with me instead or the "WAY" I put up the truth. Jesus spoke of those things to encourage me when men do what you do now. Vain and empty assault... what did I preach that was not true!!! I want to know. I do not serve your "image" of God.
