NT manufacuters almost everything critical that goes into the optics system/network.............they bought tons of stuff from JDS because their own in-house mfg could not keep up with the demand. That is why they just invested hundreds of millions opening up 3 new plants in Quebec --- to bring back lot of the mfg in-house and be able to control their supply destiny rather than rely on JDS or LU. NT does NOT buy any critical components nor do they farm off network desing, software........etc. They BUILD & DESIGN almost everything.
