MNI,

Ya know, using Werner Von Braun as an example of how
Europeans "helped" America is like saying Hitler helped
reduce racism. Mr. Von Braun's weapons of mass destruction
killed a lot of people and could have even given the
NAZI Government the edge in WWII. As Albert Speer noted
in his book "Inside the Third Reich", when German
scientists met to discuss the possibilities of building
nuclear weapons in 1942, they agreed that atomic weapons
were probably possible, but they decided against trying
to build them because they felt they would not be opera-
tional till about 1945, at which point everyone felt the
war would be over anyway. Lucky for us that this was
the case because your friend Von Braun said they would
probably be able to build a V-3 Rocket that would be able
to hit New York City by 1945...consider what would have
happened if they had been able to put these two weapon
programs together!

Hello MNI,

Are you encouraged that Kohl has apparently taken the oath of omerta?

He seems to think that peddling influence is OK, but he draws the line at ratting on his friends. There is something honorable in that.
