CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 2000--Sonoma Financial
Corporation/VictorMaxx Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: VMAX) one of the
largest payday advance operators in Illinois, announced today
operations in Illinois resulted in record revenue, a 27% increase for
November and a 24% increase for December compared to same periods
1998. The Money Market Inc. of Indiana recorded its first profitable
year in 1999 (all figures unaudited).
Sonoma Financial Corporation operates two payday advance
subsidiaries; Payday Check Advance Inc. reported same stores sales
growth of 6% for November and 8% for December, and additional growth
was attributed to the opening of 27 stores in 1999. The Money Market
Inc. reported same store sales growth of 74% for 1999. Sonoma
Financial operates a chain of 55 stores that provide convenient, low
documentation, short-term consumer loans to qualified applicants. The
Company has grown from 2 stores in 1997.
Frank Anthony Contaldo, CEO of Sonoma Financial Corp. stated,
