Analog Devices Sees Cap Ex In $200M-$250M Range For FY00

WASHINGTON -- Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) anticipates its capital expenditures will range from $200 million to $250 million for fiscal 2000, according to a Form 10-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

For fiscal 1999, the company had capital expenditures of $77.5 million, down from $166.9 million in fiscal 1998. Analog Devices said in the filing that the decrease in its 1999 expenditures was due to its efforts to constrain all spending until its sales growth resumed.

As reported, the company posted revenue of $1.5 billion in fiscal 1999, compared with revenue of $1.2 billion in fiscal 1998.

Analog Devices, based in Norwood, Mass., designs, manufactures and markets precision high-performance linear, mixed signal and digital integrated circuits.
