I never said the latest BOE Auction would kill gold. I said the auction would be a big non-event. The Auction went fine.

One of the major problems is increased optimism in the face of the widespread selling. The selling in the stocks is not over by a long shot. There will be days of reprieve but the bottom is not in.

Let's see where the XAU and the POG stand in 6 weeks. We should be closer to a bottom by then.
