Xybernaut(R) Expands Distribution and Support To Saudi Arabia and The
Gulf Region

Initial Order Shipped for Xybernaut's Wearable PC to Pamas

FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq: XYBR - news), the leader in wearable computing, today announced that this week it
has signed and begun fulfillment of an agreement with Pamas Trading & Contracting Est., a leading distributor of computers and electronics in Saudi Arabia and the
surrounding Gulf states. Pamas has established relationships with many regional businesses and value-added resellers (VARs) serving a wide range of local industries
including; oil and gas, aerospace, construction, security and medical. Xybernaut has already completed the initial shipment of Mobile Assistants® under this
agreement which also calls for Pamas to provide both support and service to Xybernaut's offerings in the region.

The nature of Pamas Trading & Contracting Est., Prop: Prince Abduld Rahman B.A. Aziz Al-Saud, also includes functioning as one of the largest construction
companies in the Gulf region. Xybernaut's products and services will allow Pamas and its customers to obtain the benefits of technology forward, wireless wearable
computing solutions in areas including, maintenance, inventory, field service, inspection, and data collection.

An advertising campaign and a major exhibit at Saudi Computer 2000, both beginning January 30, 2000, will kick off the joint marketing roll-out for this region. Dr.
Steven Newman, Xybernaut's vice chairman, along with several members of Xybernaut's technical staff will be traveling to Riyadh to support these efforts.
