El -
a major mistake in this article right off the bat -
Already, Compaq, Dell Computer Corp. and Gateway Inc. (NYSE: GTW - news) sell legacy-free machines to consumers. But the iPaq is the first one aimed at the corporate arket, and opinions vary as to which market will develop first for these machines.

This is absolutely false, there are NO legacy free machines in the market except iPaq. Windows98 will not support a legacy free machine. What does this guy think those consumer machines would run as an OS???

Likewise the GTW and DELL WebPC are not legacy free... Oh well..
