Herb is a pimp for the shorts. Check out column weeks ago when he bagged on VLNC for past sins. Stock was around 10 then. His info was very dated. Today Vlnc is at 30.

Shorts are not looking at accounting practices. They were looking at lost license last quarter and expected earning to crash. It didn't happen then and they are stuck now trying to kill this stock before current quarter is announced.

I totally agree. I think I predicted this when I first posted the news that Rocker was on CNBC. When I went through this with C-Cube, Greenberg hammered and hammered and hammered on it in his columns always quoting Rocker or Mark Cohodes(sp?) his partner. Unfortunately for CUBE holders, they were right.

The good news for us is that we shouldn't have to endure this for too long. When the earnings come out, either reserves and development costs move in the way they predict or they don't. In the meantime, they won't let up and it could get uglier. They don't have to be correct to win. There could be thousands of people like me who are getting close to a margin call in an account and may be forced to sell if it goes much lower. Then things snowball. Actually this may already be happening. It's really a bummer to me because my whole portfolio is doing marvelously but I have a small account that I use for trading shares that is heavily weighed in THQI and VISX which have both tanked recently. The bulk of my THQI shares are in a much larger and very safe account.

Waiting and watching,
Bob
