El - Not at all. Remember the arrogance on that thread when Dell was flying high?? Those guys were bashing CPQ while placing autographed pictures of Mikey under their pillows every night <ggg>. You try to tell them that no company is invincible, they laugh. It's a perfect wakeup call. I remember back in the early 1980's IBM was building sites all over the place here in the Hudson Valley. Executives were confidently predicting 100B in sales by 1990.... Funny, but the exact opposite took place. Tech is a dangerous game when trying to predict the future. In Dell's case, their future to some extent is controlled by others, namely the suppliers. I also don't quite understand why Dell continues to kiss Intel's butt. When designing I/O subsystems in computers, you always avoid the 'single point of failure'. Seems to me that a strong and healthy AMD would be to every boxmaker's benefit. Regards, John

What changed today to cause such a loss of faith? It looks like a group of bears are trying to push the stock down again without news from the company causing this change.
