Why is that the Feds are telling every one so frequently that "raising margin debt is not expected to have any impact on stock prices?" Are they really considering to do that so that they can walk away without being blamed for a sharp correction? That is, if they publicize their belief that it won't work, may be they are expecting not to be blamed. Then again, who am I kidding - this is the Greenspam controled Fed for god sake! -g-
