CSCO is the best company in the industry, by far. The day I sell my CSCO is the day I pack it all in and go to a resting place.

Telecomguy, there is very little risk of Cisco meeting their numbers. They forecasted flat revenues from the previous quarter to account for any Y2K related slowdowns. As for Fed unease in the market, well, that will affect every stock, not just Cisco.

To say don't hold Cisco is like saying you shouldn't hold Microsoft or Dell 10 years ago. I say you most certainly should hold Cisco. In addition, you should hold Nortel, at least until Cisco gets into the Optical market that Nortel is kicking ass in.
