paul, mu's eps can support current price IF IF IF IF they can mfr a growth story. computer cos are all stalling and maybe some money flows to mu. i expect about $1 in eps this q. less than last q. but if the suckers line up and buy a growth story then we could top $80.

btw, $85 is still off limits ;-)

I am revising the MU prediction that I made yesterday (on the Yahoo board). I'm thinking that the top will occur between Tuesday and Friday of next week, and that we may see $90. This may sound like it's out on a limb, but February has turned out to be a strong month, and looking back over the past 12 years, February rallies have tended to carry over into March. We may see a March high 15%-20% over today's closing price with a low only 5%-10% below today's closing price. I am not aggressively selling yet, but move up my stops every day.

Strong February-March rallies of the past have averaged about a 50% increase from the low point, or about $93 currently. History appeared to work well to predict the February performance - see post #50437. The worst that can happen is that I will be wrong.
