Geekland,
Ostman IPO site is usually up to date with all the info.
ostman.com

>Has anyone had experience with previous IPO's staged by Wit?
I participated in NAVI, got 100 shares, overall it was pretty good experience.
>Is there some sort of lottery or whatever?
I don't know, probably. The demand will be very high, so to satisfy more people Wit may end up giving out 50 shares instead of 100. They did that with Freemarkets...
>If you DO somehow manage to participate, is the pricing at the initial IPO rate achieved by the underwriters, insiders, etc?
You get the same price. NAVI was 14.

Check out the Wit thread for more details.
