Could be RAMBUS...from what I here RAMBUS yields are about 10%...
Then again, what platform does Dell have to run the 800MHz Flopper on? Solano is a warmed up i810. The i820 is slow with DRAM. I guess they could use a BX board. Then again, what does it matter if 800s are tight? Anyway you look at it Dell is scr*ed.
If Intel intros a 866/933 soon nobody will take them seriously.
