RE:Gold chief raps UK .........

Feisty Eh? <g>

But I think the mark was missed to some degree.Where the REAL problem with the BOE action lies is the method to which they go about their business.

This " auction " is a farce and I expect some pressure on them to clean up their act and go about their sales in a more friendly manner.Remember...the LBMA is an important part of the Gold MArket, and the UK is risking loosing quite a bit of business through their actions.I suspect after the next auction they will carry on their sales through normal
channnels.

The Dutch shoved a Gold brick up the UK's arse with their announcement of having sold the same amount of gold on the open market......

RIGHT AFTER THE UK AUCTION!!

I believe the message was quite clear...then agian the Brits
have never been known for taking a hint well.

Now we have them jousting for position in the IMF with their
candidate Gordie Brown.YIKES!!Gordie Brown??!!!He was the one who orchestrated this fiasco..the clown.I wouldn't trust him in there and I doubt the French and Italians will go for it.

I don't think Summers will get it either.I say the Germans win this one, which will be positive for gold in the
official sector.Just a guess based on what I'm reading on them and the usual political merry-go-round.

PS: Gold still ain't going anywhere till after the Swiss
thang...unless some other POLITICAL influence takes hold. The market can go to ZERO,and gold would not move.
Same for bonds...or anything else for that matter. Why the hoopla here about the market is beyond me,other than give
some people with a big chest to pound a place to bragg on
how much they " WON " this past couple months. He he he.... amazing.

Greenspan said " Central banks stand ready to sell/lease gold in increasing quantities should the price rise ".
Thank you Mr. Greenspan. At least you were honest enough to say it.
