Kailish--

When I first encountered Ballard back in 1997 I spent a long time contemplating the creation of a "true" hydrogen infrastucture (and associated problems with hydrogen fuel reformation.) What convinced me that fuel cells would be a viable alternative and to buy Ballard for the first time was this url: (I thought I had lost it.)

nfcrc.uci.edu

Hydrogen from solar hydrolization (sp?) through the use of PV will become a reality. The "economies" of this process are improving as the PV equipment improves. (I've got my eye on APWR for this purpose.)

Until then we're dealing with a net loss. Environmental concerns may make the net loss easier to ignore or irrelevant.

Interesting that one of those early hydrogen solar farms was in Saudi, no?
