Apparently at 2pm ET tomorrow (Friday) SI Diamond will announce the demonstration of a 4 inch diagonal HyFed with a reliablity >10,000 hours. I have spoken with 2 seperate people who have already seen this demo. and apparently the quality is "stunning". More importantly the display was able to show vivid high speed video, a feat that not even the fastest AMLCDs can accomplish. If this is correct and SIDT have indeed solved all the reliabilty issues, then this information fits with rumours that SIDT are about to be acquired for 10's of millions of dollars.
