MB, I think the Devil would want his advocate to have a more detailed, and better supported, argument than the one just presented.

Sweeping generalizations like the one you attribute to Osha display a huge error margin. Enough so that one should not make any serious investment decision or draw any conclusion based on this kind of input.

Its really none of my business how much you are investing, but since you offered full disclosure - why don't you tell us which puts you are buying (date) and how many is a slug full?
