Other than Comparator Tech which traded some crazy 400 mil shares in a day (it was delisted later) ORCL (Dec 97) holds the record for one day volume: 172 mil. If you adjust for two splits (I think effectively 3/1)later on - it woluld be something like 600 mil in today's shares!! EDIT. It is confirmed. ORCL on Dec 9, 1997 has the highest vol on DUNG: 172 mil! IN today's shares it is over 500 mil shares!
