I would imagine that the poison pill is there to protect management and not the shareholders. If I remember correctly the pill is in at a ludicrous price (for todays pairgain reality) and was put in long ago when the company actually was making money and was somewhat of a street favorite. Now all the pill does is protect management's jobs , assuring them of the ability to price options to their benefit and keep their high paid positions. Shareholders be dammed ...Anyone who wants my shares can have them at $16-18 right now... G.A.
