Yea....But the tentacles attach to the sides of your mouth and you got to chew them off to swallow it...<ggg>

The case I am talking about is as you approach the densities that Mr. GUS was talking about where you try to compete wiht a wide area netowrk with ALOT of load. Put 150 of them in a single room and have absolutely NO coordination between them. then see if you have interference. then add your garage door opener, your cordless phone, your wireless speakers, your wireless stereo remote, etc.... In the end if all the 900 Mhz plans were sucessful, they would all fail. Even if all the noise appears as gaussian white noise to one another, they still will raise the noise floor until they do not operate. this is why even CDMA has to have a coordinated power control scheme. I would look seriously at the signal to noise coding gain that Metricom has in their system even with FDMA hopping.
