<<If they are not buying why should anyone else?>>

Good Question.....IMO, there is a tremendous amount of churning going on right now.....look at the volume on DELL today. It is interesting that one of DELL's greatest supporters in the last few years (The Janus Funds) are buying a HUGE stake in Healtheon/WebMD (HLTH) -- this is similar to their purchase of AMZN in the sell-off last fall. The only thing that these two internuts have in common is that they are not any closer to making money now than they have ever been. I am wondering if Janus is trading some of the internet stocks <G>....I am not going to argue with their track record. They are blowing away their competition and the bar keeps getting set higher for them. I sort of see Janus as in DELL's situation a few years ago. Its an expectations game and it gets harder and harder to continue to exceed the bars that continue to be raised. Last time I checked Janus still owned some DELL. Yet, they have much larger positions in stocks like AOL, CSCO and SUNW. They also seem to be loading up on internut stocks. Hmmm....I still have some faith in DELL's management. Yet, I will admit mistakes have been made. Hey, we are only human. I talked with some relatives in Michigan this morning and they are all HOLDING their DELL. The question is do the BIG Fund Managers have the confidence in DELL that they need going forward. I think we'll find out. DELL is still a very well run company and they usually work hard to learn from their mistakes. They have much better growth characteristics than a GE or SUNW (Two VERY large Janus holdings right now). Yet, it is an expectations game. DELL needs to learn how to play the game in a masterful way --like CSCO or MSFT. This is not easy with their size or their BTO model. Yet, IMO there is too much talent at all levels of the DELL organization to write them off now. When the Janus Funds of this world start loading up on DELL again, watch out <G>.....This may not happen next week. Yet, it may happen sooner than some of the bears expect. If I knew exactly when this was going to happen, I would be on a beach on my own Caribbean island right now..!!

I am just trying to 'balance the old discussion' out here a little bit. Nothing like a little Midwestern perspective.

Good Luck Investing Everyone.

Regards,

Scott
