THQI will most likely make a statement.

I hope not, that would lend his arguments an air of legitimacy. They responded to these issues in the last CC, so the institutions know how they feel. A solid income statement is the only statement I care to see refuting these accusations.

I can't imagine today's activity wasn't caused by a fresh round of shorties entering the fray. I don't see much more downside to this stock (unless they're right and the numbers stink next month :) Then again, I didn't think there was any downside beyond 23, and here we are -10%.

I'd give anything to have more timely short interest figures, but public knowledge of major covering action would be a silver bullet to the short's hearts.

THQI should definitely be made aware of the suspicious options trading yesterday, as well as any possible relationship between TSC and Rocker/Chanos.

The bottom line in all this accounting stuff is OPERATING CASH FLOW. Let's see how THQI's full year cash flow statement looks. This takes into account capitalized costs and reserves for receivables. In Q4 1998, net income was approximately $12M and operating cash flow was -$4M (this is okay, since Q1 1999 took in $27M more in cash than in net income). As of Q3 1999, 9 month cash flow was $18.5M.

Previously, piercing the 200-day MA has been a short-lived affair.

THQI as the 2nd biggest 3rd party console publisher? That means that MWY, ATVI and AKLM came in behind THQI. That surprised me.

Todd

Not only that large put. Per Yahoo THQI thread (you can take a look at Tues post), before the market closed on Tues. somebody sold around 250,000 shares of THQI through PJ. Don't know it is sale long or short.

But either way, when you saw this Street.com article, it smells fishy.
