isn't the recovering Asian market dampening some of the deflationary
trends..haven't a lot of the commodity companies including oil stopped expansion and cut back expenses when Asia melted down?
where is the funding coming for the new internet companies..from
Greenspan or from private investments and ipos..how many companies has a yahoo or cisco bought out?
how much money has Greenspan been printing? also what about the deprivatization in Europe and South America
just curious :-)
Bobby

That was a very eloquent synopsis of the Perma Bear Religious Vision of The Universe. I like the Austrian School of Economics too. The problem with it from a New Era viewpoint is that it does not view economics from the point of view of the Investor as Artist or Creator, but from the standpoint of impersonal laws governing monetary policy. From a New Era standpoint, the stock market promises financial happiness. Clinton is New Era Incarnate: he can rise from the Dead from any moral or financial crisis.
Get real. This country is voting for Gore and Hillary big time in November. Why? Because the financial stake of the public rides on this bubble getting bigger and bigger. Is there a limit to how far a bubble can expand before it bursts? Call it a Ponzi scheme. Call it manipulation. Call it whatever you like. Greenspam, Clinton, Gore and Hilliary know this game better than anyone. If anyone can continue to play this game it is them. (The public knows the Republicans will burst the bubble). Yes, their all walking on the tightrope.
Mind you, we are in uncharted territory here and the money inflows into the stock market keep on getting greater and greater. It's amazing, isn't it?

I'm not defending the bubble. I could care less if it expands further or bursts. My thoughts of New ERA come from conversations from people who are New ERA. The power of New ERA should not be under estimated. Neither should its eventual fall.
