I think that some of the boxmakers have already started to seriously look at the low end of the market and many have already taken steps to address it. It started a couple of years back with the sub $1K PC's and has now developed into lower functionality (higher design, ala the iMac) products. Having said that, I think these internet appliances address a target market segment which are most likely not potential purchasers of fully fledged PC's. Overall, these machines should increase the overall market size, not cannibalise into anybosdy's existing market share. S Pal
