Jungle Cat, Do you know what prompted the upward move today? The only new information I can find on the company this month is a press release dated the 24th (see below) on the company's web page which mentions they have become a distributor of the "Tarantella Enterprise II" software. Do you think that is why the stock has been moving up the last couple of days?

SCO's Powerful Web-Enabling Software is Now Available
SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- SCO (Nasdaq: SCOC - news) today began shipments of its new Tarantella Enterprise II web-enabling software, which was announced in December 1999. Tarantella Enterprise II provides enterprise organizations with a single, unified systems management architecture for delivering and managing Windows, mainframe and UNIX applications. Tarantella Enterprise II adds the capability to provide instant web access to Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 applications, over the Internet, using Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP.) Pricing and Availability

Tarantella Enterprise II begins shipping today, pricing starts at $4925 for a 25-user, multi-server enterprise package. Tarantella Enterprise II is available for all major UNIX platforms, including Compaq Tru64 UNIX, HP-UX, IBM AIX, SCO OpenServer, SCO UnixWare and Sun SPARC Solaris.

Tarantella Enterprise II is available through select distributors who undertake a special authorization process. In the U.S., these distributors include AmeriQuest Technologies, Jones Business Systems and Savoir Technologies.
