IPO- "The next big IPO is Canadian Tech stocks" - The US investor is discovering the Canadian mkt in droves. This is being further exacerbated by a flat to down fully valued US mkt. But when they come here what do they know about Canadian stocks - doodly squat. So they look for a couple of things: first momo - anything that is moving. That's why I mostly only buy momo stocks - secondly sectors: wireless, and all sorts of cleaver software and state of the art tech stuff. Canadian stocks are more undervalued than US stocks and easier to do DD on for the juniors.

I think this trend is just going to increase all year - why would it turn around? And the best thing for us (us? I have already lost my identity) would be a flat US mkt all year.

So the best strategy is to buy the momo stocks with a sector play, before the yanks get here <g> and let the US investors drive it up further. This will be good for Canadian comppanies and the Country and well deserved! Good on you. The Canadian dollar has already moved from 1.5 to 1.44 a little extra income <g>.
