GetShorty--Someone watching their stock every minute could easily make a trading adjustment based on the intraday, daily, weekly or monthly trend of where a stock may be heading. But you've gotta admit doing it that way can keep you pinned to your quote button, plus you've gotta entertain all of the erroroneous messages from over enthused bashers and hypsters.

There's nothin' wrong with puttin' your money into a stock and matching it with a price target date some distance down the road and ignoring all of the trading fluctuations. This is especially true if you hold sufficient confidence that target date will be met.

What's important for this individual is news and developments, not what kind of clothing or how much make-up the shorties are wearing on any given day. You see, it's the earnings reports, lawsuits, contract cancellations, insider selling and competitor behavior, those type actions, which ultimately will ruin a long-term investment in a quality company. Not you guys!

Shorters come and go and Warren Buffet knows this, doesn't he?

<DAK, if it's so obvious that every stock corrects 50%, why not sell when it's obviously broken, to lock in profits, and buy back much lower? >

Good idea... who said they wouldn't?

<Nah, I like your strategy better. Hold tight and watch your equity get cut in half in 48 hours.>

ha ha ... you're like a talk show host editing out stuff they don't want to hear. You forgot part of the story:

<<Nah, I like your strategy better. Hold tight and watch your equity explode thousands of %, and then from the very top tick get cut in half in 48 hours.>

Thanks, you'd make a piker news reporter as well.
