I agree that anyone can be the leader, but Kim had a lot of power. I was amazed sometimes what she could do. This thread did have a more organized feel when Kim was here.

I don't think any of us need a leader. A leader for the thread, maybe...but not for trading.

Excellent point - we have missed some great plays as a group, 2Mar$ brought up VRTA (never discussed prior to this move), SNWL - hugh move, ITXC - hugh move, ARTG ($Mogul pointed this one out), MSLV (another Mogul pick), KANA, FFIV, LOOK (hugh move in past two days).

Just a small list, my frustration is the group is like the old TJ thread, picking small cap. flyers (o.k. as these have been great on some of them!) PD and CrayUSA to thank here.

There is no focus on the solid, recent - within past six month type of plays with big momo potential. We are just missing too many high flyers of late, so lets figure it out and get with the program.

Just my 2 cents, your all a great group.

Impossible to keep an eye on everything moving....either up or down...
With the many sets of eyes scanning stories, eyeing breakouts, or watching the ask pounded on an particular stock - Its nice when it's brought out to the attention of our fellow threadsters...I believe in the long run it helps everyone to do better in their trading decisions...THUS - MAKING MORE MONEY!!!!
Best Regards,
K

I agree with you on the leader thing but I have been around SI a little and I cant find any other thread that has the great personality's and knowledge that we have here. Afraid if we leave here we may never get it back. But if we need a leader than lets have a vote or something. Would have to be someone we all trust because that is a lot of power to wield.

We kind of have several guys that have stepped up since kims been gone who we all listen to anyway, $mogul, 2Mar$, Vagabond, Swiss, the list goes on.

Once we find the new leader we should probably rename the thread and move there.

Too many scalpers cut down on the hot hand. I think Kim and her closest are gone to a private chat and only reappear when necessary. I don't know how you can circuit the fast ones. If there was a selection process for leadership, I'd choose you, IOIH, or Puff Daddy. You seem to be the ones qualified, based on performance! And you both certainly have been the leaders this site has needed since Kim left. As far as I can see, you've kept it together.

Ye of little faith! I have been watching this thread since it was, as Kim called it "more intimate". She told you all she was coming back after she took care of some business in early January, and I would bet my gains from her picks that she is not operating out of some "secret society for the daytraders of SI".

If you want to pick/become a "leader", then do it. Just start a thread. This one is chaotic and unfocused because everyone has their own agenda, and takes it personally when no one follows it. TAM
