MikeyT,

UNTRUE ..... the CNBC and other analysts are having a hard time differentiating between regular hours(reg) trading and after hours(aft) trades. They quote price and + or - both vs reg & aft interchangeably never telling the viewing public which ..... most times the quote the aft + or - when they really include the reg+aft + or -.

For instance my RT is showing CPQ @ 28 1/4 (down 5/8) with virually NO aft trading (the 5:01 reg close was 28 1/4) ... yet CNBC's Tanzi says CPQ is down 7/8 .... it is NOT ... at least at this time .... it was down 7/8 just @4pm which did not include the unfinished/still-being-entered reg (pre 4pm)trades.

The aft trades and its reporting on CNBC and other places is all screwed up and NOT very well coorinated nor QC-d.
Unfortunately this CAN effect traders (aft tonite and reg tomorrow upon opening) ... truly, aft is a mess.

Michael
