he is btw completely wrong on the 'PURELY speculator driven' bit. palladium supplies are extremely tight...the market's in backwardation. the Russians don't have any metal to keep promises of delivery and the U.S. have already sold the maximum allowable 200,000 ounces from the strategic reserves last year to keep the price in check - to no avail. remember, the car companies will pay ANY price to ensure supplies. remember the rhodium rally? something similar could be happening to palladium. sure, there will be sharp corrections along the way, but trying to pick a top in that market is utterly foolish imo. now that i've said that it's probably going to tank...<ggg>
