Exactly! What people say has a tremendous impact on us. Especially if someone seems reasonable like V. did...for awhile. If an investor is expecting a nice pop before earnings and then gets some confirmation from a popular poster here that it WILL happen...well...? I've fallen into the same trap in the past and have paid for it. THAT is why I come off so strong when people start making predictions like they WILL happen with an air of guru-ness. Group think has a powerful effect. I know you've heard this so many times, but the long term perspective really IS different. This kind of drop in the past would have destroyed me in the past. Having spent as much time as I have researching the Q, I am confident that I will do well in the future and today's price is really meaningless. The only way to really do this is to get a shopping list, buy your positions when the stocks you want get hammered and hang on until the story changes. This applies to big hairy ape growth...not those cyclical things. Have I been here posting too long today? Rick
