JLA You have not seen what I have..The same damn Nursing Home has been closed down by the State FIVE different times and the Owner can no longer OWN a Nursing Home in Florida.. His SON can..There were 5 Neglect/ 4 wrongful Death and I forget what the other three were for in 98. There are Excellent Nursing Homes but they are not in POLK County Florida. and not Unless they are Corporate Owned and Managed with well paid Employees. I am about to become a Lobbyist for the Disabled and Handicapped your age:-) Who have no Voice and NO DAMN Program to assist them, they hang off SS Disability and Madicaid ;-( Would you work in a Nursing Home for $6.00 an hour??? My Daughter was held in this Nursing Home four Months without DUE PROCESS..She was dumped there by her Husband (Two HRS Investigators picked her up physically and put her and her wheelchair in a County Auto' and packed her clothes then drove her to the Nursing Home) and two Judges Rubber Stamped her. I was allowed to see her only one hour a week.I was only her Mother:-( when I retained an Atty another Judge was forced to evict her lying husband and two children :-( and return her to her home to cover the ass of the Judges. He then Divorced her and took her children 8 and 10:-( He allowed her Medical Insurance to lapse compliments of another Judge who gave her $300. per month Alimony. SS Disability gives her children $75. each per month. So Lizzie has some good points in her complaint. Why is the Disability Program hanging onto SS ??? I could write a Book on this one. Even Gloria Alred refused to come into Polk County and file a Lawsuit. What I saw in this Nursing Home was beyond belief..The place reeked of Urine.. ENOUGH..I am not talking about something I heard about. What I have seen in some of these Nursing Homes is no better than Hitlers..Medical Centers.. Remember the "Boyz in the Sheets" Reign Supreme here.
