The day after the State of the Union Address tends to be an up one for the markets over the years. However, the Drug stocks may take it on the chin.

Cramer at TheStreet.com speculated this morning that the SotUA may concentrate on tobacco and not hit drugs very hard. That's one man's opinion, at least.

Brian. I am glad I am going out tonight. I will probably tape the Union Address. It should be a marathon speech. gg.

Maybe he will refrain from bashing the drug cos. They have not been doing too well this year.

Dell acted pretty well in after hours. It will probably take a while for the stock to recover. I sold my LU and don't want another tax burden so I may just be holding out.

Maybe tomorrow and Monday will be up days after all. Everybody is waiting for it. The pundits are mentioning all day that as January goes so goes the market for the rest of the year. The DOW and NAZ are down for the year. Maybe those money managers will do some big time buying. I am pretty sure they would like the year to be on the upside. But despite this saying, we may have to wait for the FOMC meeting after all. The Globex futures are doing alright so far.
