Your post is the most realistic I have read on QCOM so far. So much BS irrational expectations is what kills a stock like this sometimes.

I totally agree with your view. But since it's in a trading range, one can use that (sorry to repeat myself) to get at least some reasonable return on options. Since 140 is overhead resistance one could sell cc at 145 and probably be fine. You could also sell puts below, say, 110. So even i fyou're not trading your core stock you can still take in some premiums.
