Work kept me away from monitor all afternoon. (Right after I doubled my long position in PCTL). Did it because of increased confidence thanks to you guys - actually got interested because of you guys! :)

Will continue to share MHO's - although I am only an egg in these matters - but this is a huge "Thanks" to the people on this thread - ANY of you who are in or visiting smoggy LA, lunch is on me so I can tell you personally.

Frank,

I certainly enjoyed your discourse on the "Ethics of profit and risk."

Frankly, I seek less risk and more profit. Technically, I have done some study on this and find that the more common pattern is a flat line stock that breaks a 50 day high, then retreats in the majority of cases to a 50 day low on close, then may piddle a while until the 9 day simple MA crosses above the 50 day simple MA. Then moonshot!

Just a simple concept that I am playing with, and I have not factored in volume expansion, etc as yet.

Let us not forget that many of the picks on this thread have gone to great price expansion, and I am certain that many here have "sellers remorse".

The issue of which to hold and which to fold daunts us yet, perhaps?

No answers, yet, Jack!

P.S --expect a rally soon in the S&P 500 to above 1450, and silver on the march basis, I would sell circa $5.47-$5.50. Clear uptrend, but I expect a reversal there soon to an intermediate low near $5.12-$5.15.
