<<Maria is a joke>>

Okay VISX, the gauntlet has been thrown down: them there is fighting words (at least on this thread).

Maria may tell some jokes: but she is not a joke. Some of the things she does may seem like jokes: but she is not a joke. Just think how boring it would be if all we heard was the raw facts.

Everyone on this thread just pictures her going down that Dell slide with them waiting at the bottom. (since this is the next best thing to a commercial -- insert your own image here -- but definitely no "phony upgrade[s]"). Because of this, none of us wants her to stop on the Dell slide either: so I guess we agree on something -- at least the raw facts. But, believe me, that slide image is not a joke: the upgrades at the bottom of that slide are real -- or at least imaginarily so.

This is not the Maria critique thread and we just won't stand for it here: slide for it maybe, but no standing. Take it to the CNBC Critique Thread where everyone gets bashed for everything. We have some upgraded bashing ideas here, but not the kind your post reflects.

Aside from that, I'm to tired to be any more creative in this fight and am making too much money on my SILI to spend any more time with the fight. This is the best of all fights: end it quick before the other guy even knows it has started. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. <g>

PS - Now when Maria mentions SILI by shamelessly pumping an analyst's upgrade (no pun intended this time) (even the guys in the studio have mentioned SILI a couple of times), she will really be on a permanent pedestal in my book. The ironic part is that the first SILI coverage is most likely to come from Merrill -- we have learned to take the good with the other stuff. :)
